To provide accessible and equitable higher education in Health Sciences, nurturing excellence in teaching, clinical training, and research, thereby developing competent Homoeopathic physicians and inspiring leaders who contribute to national development and global healthcare advancement.
The Department of Practice of Medicine functions as a core clinical department, integrating the study of Medicine with Homoeopathic therapeutics. It facilitates academic and clinical training for II, III and IV BHMS students, with a total course duration of three years.
The department is housed on the second floor of the Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital and provides structured teaching–learning experiences through hospital postings, OPD/IPD case exposure, seminars, demonstration-based learning and supervised case management.
Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning, disease diagnosis, rational Homoeopathic prescribing, and correlating principles of Organon of Medicine and Materia Medica with patient management.
